Islamabad July 19, 2024: Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has decided to conduct the MDCAT exam on September 22, 2024 (Sunday). In a recent meeting, the council decided to conduct the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) for medical aspirants in Pakistan and abroad on the same date.
The council also decided that the MDCAT syllabus will be uploaded on the PM&DC website next week and the registration portal will also be open for registration. For the convenience of the students, the council decided not to make any changes in the syllabus, so the MDCAT syllabus will remain unchanged and will remain the same as last year.
The council directed all the provincial secretaries to start preparing for the MDCAT exam, the statement said, adding that the decision was taken keeping in mind the larger interest of the students.
Last year around 180534 students appeared for the exams. According to estimates, 200,000 students are likely to appear for the exam this year. The MDCAT Paper Difficulty Index will also be taken into account for the ease of the students without compromising on the merit to ensure that all the provinces conduct the exams without any hassle to the students.
President PM&DC Prof. Dr. Rizwan Taj said in a press release that MDCAT-2024 will be a paper-based examination conducted in one day by provincial public admission universities under the supervision of PM&DC. He emphasized that bright future of students is our top priority and PM&DC is working tirelessly for their convenience.
Prof. Dr. Rizwan Taj has directed all the universities conducting the examinations to strictly follow the guidelines and regulations to ensure transparency and transparency in the admission process.
He added that the council understands the importance of MDCAT exam for students seeking admission in medical and dental colleges. Therefore PM&DC will ensure that all necessary arrangements are made on time.
In coming days PMDC will share more details for Registration, Syllabus, Centers Selection, etc.
He added that aspirant medical students are advised to stay updated and prepared for the upcoming exam and keep visiting the PM&DC website.
اسلام آباد 19 جولائی 2024: پاکستان میڈیکل اینڈ ڈینٹل کونسل (PMDC) نے MDCAT کا امتحان 22 ستمبر 2024 (اتوار) کو منعقد کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔ ایک حالیہ اجلاس میں، کونسل نے میڈیکل اینڈ ڈینٹل کالج داخلہ ٹیسٹ (MDCAT) پاکستان اور بیرون ملک ایک ہی تاریخ کو میڈیکل کے خواہشمند طلباء کے لیے منعقد کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا۔
کونسل نے یہ بھی فیصلہ کیا کہ MDCAT کا نصاب اگلے ہفتے PM&DC کی ویب سائٹ پر اپ لوڈ کر دیا جائے گا اور رجسٹریشن کے لیے رجسٹریشن پورٹل بھی کھلا رہے گا۔ طلباء کی سہولت کے لیے کونسل نے نصاب میں کوئی تبدیلی نہ کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا لہذا MDCAT کا نصاب بدستور برقرار رہے گا اور پچھلے سال جیسا ہی رہے گا۔
کونسل نے تمام صوبائی سیکرٹریز کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ ایم ڈی سی اے ٹی امتحان کی تیاری شروع کر دیں، بیان میں کہا گیا ہے کہ یہ فیصلہ طلباء کے وسیع تر مفاد کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے کیا گیا ہے۔
گزشتہ سال تقریباً 180534 طلباء امتحانات میں شریک ہوئے تھے۔ اندازوں کے مطابق اس سال 200,000 طلباء کے امتحان میں بیٹھنے کا امکان ہے۔ ایم ڈی سی اے ٹی پیپر مشکل انڈیکس کو میرٹ پر سمجھوتہ کیے بغیر طلبہ کی آسانی کے لیے بھی مدنظر رکھا جائے گا تاکہ اس بات کو یقینی بنایا جاسکے کہ تمام صوبوں نے طلبہ کو بغیر کسی پریشانی کے امتحانات کا انعقاد کیا ہے۔
صدر PM&DC پروفیسر ڈاکٹر رضوان تاج نے پریس ریلیز میں کہا کہ MDCAT-2024 ایک پیپر پر مبنی امتحان ہوگا جو PM&DC کی زیر نگرانی صوبائی پبلک ایڈمیشن یونیورسٹیوں کے ذریعے ایک دن میں منعقد ہوگا۔ انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ طلباء کا روشن مستقبل ہماری اولین ترجیح ہے اور PM&DC ان کی سہولت کے لیے انتھک محنت کر رہا ہے۔
پروفیسر ڈاکٹر رضوان تاج نے امتحانات منعقد کرنے والی تمام یونیورسٹیوں کو ہدایت کی ہے کہ وہ داخلے کے عمل میں شفافیت اور شفافیت کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے ہدایات اور ضوابط پر سختی سے عمل کریں۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ کونسل میڈیکل اور ڈینٹل کالجوں میں داخلہ کے خواہشمند طلباء کے لیے MDCAT امتحان کی اہمیت کو سمجھتی ہے۔ اس لیے پی ایم اینڈ ڈی سی اس بات کو یقینی بنائے گا کہ تمام ضروری انتظامات وقت پر کیے جائیں۔
ایم ڈی سی اے ٹی امتحان سے متعلق مزید تفصیلات بشمول شیڈول، رجسٹریشن کا عمل اور دیگر معلومات پی ایم ڈی سی آنے والے دنوں میں بتائے گی۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ میڈیکل کے خواہشمند طلباء کو مشورہ دیا جاتا ہے کہ وہ آنے والے امتحان کے لیے اپ ڈیٹ اور تیار رہیں اور پی ایم اینڈ ڈی سی کی ویب سائٹ ملاحظہ کرتے رہیں
